From the Desktop is a growing network of home based virtual assistants catering to the promotional products industry. We are almost always looking for qualified 'Desktop Girls' to join our team.

 

Our 'team' model is structured around woman and moms who, for a variety of reason, are staying home or have stayed home, and now want something for themselves - but still need to be available for kids & family schedules.

 

I was that mom! I graduated from San Jose State and worked in a startup software development firm where I ran the office, wrote technical manuals and did onsite training of our products. It was a big change of focus to stay home – but with 3 children and moving around the country – it was the best & only option for me.

 

I have built this company to be flexible, however, you need to be serious about learning and helping us grow. If you are just looking for a 'job' to make a little extra money - this probably is not for you. We work hard - and we work together as a team. Between the different tasks we perform for our many clients - there are a lot of moving parts, everyone must to be on the same page and available at various times throughout the day.

 

The ideal member of our team would be:

• Tech Savvy
• Have knowledge of Bookkeeping / QuickBooks (Bonus)
• Are familiar with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (Bonus)
• Have experienced the Administrative / Order Process side of business
